Hi

We are coming to Bridge School Fundraiser in Mountainview. Would appreciate a few ideas for breakfast and lunch. Thanks!

It's the closest to Shoreline (right at the exit instead of left). There's a strip mall there where the Costco is with a Sushi resto and a few other places. There are some good taquerias if you go down Rengstorff to Middlefield (I can't remember the names but someone here will know and they are fairly ovbvious.)

Mexican options are the best close by. Fiesta del Mar is a good Mexican sit-down restaurant, just a few blocks south of 101 on Shoreline. As Foodie.wannabe mentioned, there are some very good taquerias near the corner of Rengstorff and Old Middlefield, including Taqueria La Bamba and Los Altos Taqueria.

How far do you want to travel? What price range, food preferences? Atmosphere?

I'm a fan of Falafel & Kebob (1477 Plymouth), just down Shoreline near the movie theater, especially their lamb shewarma. Right next door you'll find Sunny Bowl, which serves Korean (bi bim bap), and a sushi restaurant. Across the street is Pizzaria Venti, which I've never tried, and a Starbucks.

If you're willing to drive 3 miles, just head down Shoreline and go downtown, to Castro St. Castro Street has everything.

+1 on the Castro Street recommendation. Castro street in Mountain View has it all.

Venti (Pizza/Pasta) is not too bad. Sunny Bowl for healthy bibimbap.
