Studio city dinner???

looking for suggestions for NON-SUSHI in Studio City.
Help!!

Used to love Mezzomondo, but had 2 bad meals in a row there... maybe I'll give it another try.
La Loggia is always good.
Sparks is too.
Firefly, not cheap but good.
Great Greek - just outside Studio City, yummy Greek food.
Casa Vega - great gringo mex.... almost always a hour long wait after 7pm
Pino Bistro - good.

Spark is fine, except that you'll practically be sitting on top of the table next to you and there's enough salt in their food to give a healthy twentysomething heart problems.

I tend to avoid it.

All great picks. Also great home-made pasta and excellent Italian fare at Mezzomondo, nth side of Ventura, just east of Whitsett. Not too spendy, either.

I love MezzoMondo. We've been going there since it opened. Not only is the food good, but the service and attention are really first rate.

This place deserves a lot more pub than it gets.

Spumante across from jerry's deli is not bad Italian either.

Huh, I've never seen Elio cranky. If he likes you, he'll give you a taste of his (club/mail-order) olive oil of the month.

I've been going to Spumante for years. Great patio. The Owner, Joe, is very charming. Good pizza and pasta dishes. The shrimp special is very good.

My favorite main is the osso bucco and the warm mushroom and bacon salad (may not be on the menu anymore, but he still makes it for me).

Spumante has been closed for months. A place called Risotto opened in its place, but I haven't tried it yet.

Firefly on Ventura at Colfax, Out Take Cafe on Ventura between Radford and Carpenter, Kung Pao Bistro for Chinese, on Ventura just east of Carpenter, Ole Tapas Bar on Ventura at Longridge, Max in Sherman Oaks, just west of the Studio City border on Ventura near Dixie Canyon. One of these should satisfy.
