Can you recomment a restaurant in Laguna Beach

For my boss and his friends-- upper crusty for sure, birthday celebration. What about Mozambique?

I know that a Tommy Bahamas is opening up in Laguna in a few weeks. The Newport Beach location is really nice.
I'd even try Masrtos Ocean club in Crystal Cove (Newport) which is 5 mins from Laguna Beach

We just dined at 230 Forest on Sun. It was wonderfu! Be sure make a reservation there. There are so many amazing places to dine in Laguna. The Loft @ The Montage is very good. There are 3 restaurants at The Montage, The Studio is also awesome! You may also want to check out Sapphire Grill or Hush. We have been to Claes @ The Hotel Laguna, it's nice and you will have pretty views there. Let us know where you end up! :)

More upper-crusty in Laguna would be Studio at The Montage. Or maybe Clae's, in the Hotel Laguna. I might also suggest Ti Amo or Dizz's As Is. A bit farther North you'd find Mastro's, BlueFin, and Javier's..... all at Crystal Cove.

Add another vote for Studio - I think it is about the best in Orange County.

Not that swell-elegant cutting edge,
but ate at Las Brisas in Laguna Beach and I have to ssay, my dad got the filet mignon and it was probably one of the five best pieces of beef I've ever had.
nice view. good birthday celebration. a little bridge and tunnel-ish but worth it.

Brussels Bistro on Forest in the village is great! They have live jazz Tues, Wed, Thurs. and on weekends, DJ's after 10. Great atmosphere, fantastic food and good service. Great wine and beer list too. I live locally :)

BB is definitely not upper crust.

230 Forest is very good. I like it better than Watermarc. Both are upscale casual. Watermarc can take bigger groups. I love Tabu in Southern Laguna. K'Ya gets good reviews. I have not been to Sorrento Grill is a long time, but they have to be doing something right.
