Hi folks,

I'm taking a day in Brighton this Saturday for some fresh ear and I hope a really nice lunch? Any recommendations would be super deeply deeply appreciated.

what kind of thing do you fancy?

terre a terre would be my choice for imaginative vegetarian cooking.

The Meadows is lovely - very light and airy. Good simple but refined food. Its over towards Hove but easily walkable along the beach from the centre of Brighton.

I second Terre a Terre - delicious food, close to seafron/ pier. You'll love it even if you're not veggie!

Also - Ginger Pig is a great gastropub on Hove St in Hove - you can walk along the seafront to there in about (a slow) 30 mins - the food is always amazing
