One Lunch and one Dinner in S F

Coming to S F from L A and havent been in years. Would love ideas for great meals -not insanely expensive (entrees under $30) and NO Chinese or Indian. Love Italian and Continental for dinner and great soup and salad for lunch. Thank you!

Have you been? The usual suggestion is Scoma's for lunch as better value. A considerable number of their dinner entrees are over flowergirl's limit.
