44th and 11th
My company just moved to this area and I was hoping for some lunchtime recs. Is everything worth going to on 9th Ave?
Any insight would be really welcome!! I'm willing to walk but of course like places to grab a a quick bite or take out as well.

Yum! Just tried both Tehuitzingo and Tulcingo De Valle in the past two days. Thought Tulcingo De Valle was a bit better-- meat in tacos was juicy compared to Tehuitzingo. But Tehuitzingo had a fun atmosphere too. Both get a thumbs up from me. More exploring to do!

Stop at Sullivan Street Bakery on 47th between 11th and 10th (closer to 11th); try a slice of their pizza or - if they have it - a savory brioche. Their breads are great and worth taking home; we're addicted to their multigrain.

Not a lunch spot, but you've got a great microbrew beer bar close by for after-work drinks: Pony Bar on 45th and 10th

I think this is very close to both Pio Pio and Halo Berlin. Not lunch spots per se, but I think either could work for lunch.

If you like Mexican: Tehuitzingo and Tulcingo De Valle are both on 10th, a little closer. BiscoLatte is mostly known for biscotti but they do have some lunch selections as well. There are more things opening up on 10th all the time, including a new Cuban spot that looks like it's opening soon, so you may not need to go to 9th as often as you thought!
