NORTH PINELLAS RESTAURANTS

Wondering where the good restaurants are up here. Not a chef, just a good home cook, so it doesn't have to be really fancy/gourmet. Looking for good seafood and or Italian, but also looking for good wings and pizza and a decent Philly cheesesteak if at all possible. Thanks.

I live in South County but I will travel your direction for a couple of places ( Who am I kidding I will travel anywhere for good food).

For Cheesesteaks it has to be, La Spada sooo good. and for seafood I like Frenchy's for casual I always order their grouper sandwhich and I like the original location on Baymont and Mystic fish which is a little fancy but excellent.

I am not sure where you live but these are all over North County enjoy.

La Spada is now known as Delco. Same people running it but there was a registered name issue or something.

Still excellent though! Was just there last week.

Thank you so much. I might just check this out this weekend. I'm up in Palm Harbor.

For something that's consistently tasty, cute and inexpensive, I like Cafe Alfresco in Dunedin. You're not going to walk away feeling like you just had an unforgettable meal, but I think the quality is nice for the price structure. The setting is lovely and you can stroll around downtown Dunedin while you digest.

Walt's Seasonal Cuisine in Dunedin is great, as is Casa Tina. I went to Mystic Fish in Palm Harbor for the first time a few weeks ago and thought it was some of the best fish I had had in Pinellas. The new outpost of Ceviche in Clearwater is good, too. Enjoy!

I spend a bit of time in the northern part of the county.

I've had several nice seafood lunches over looking the water on the patio at Ozona Blue. The address is Palm Harbor, but it is just North of the Dunedin line.

The Philly at Delco's on Main St., Dunedin is tasty. They get packed at lunch time.

The Lucky Dill Deli is casual and is a decent deli fix.

Almost sacrilegious, but the Cuban at the Latin American Grill Argentine Steakhouse on Tampa Rd. is one of the best I've had.
