Client Dinner in Chelsea/Union Square Flatiron district - Suggestions?

UpperWestFam Oct 19, 2010 03:06 PM

Have a client coming in for dinner Thursday night. There will be 8 of us. Don't want to spend big $$$. Looking at $$. Entrees in teens-$20s. Would prefer a decent wine list.

So we need a place that's got good food and atmosphere, but we do need to hear each other talk.

Was initially thinking about Suenos, or Il Bastardo.

I appreciate all and any suggestions.

My clients love Craft. Most entrees may be above your limit though. But the space makes a great impression and the TV tie-in doesn't hurt. AND the food is really nice.

"We need to hear each other talk" made me think of Sagoponack on W 22nd off Fifth. There's a mezzanine level which would be good for a business dinner, out of the bustle of the bar.

Menu emphasizes seafood but a number of options for non-meat eaters and vegetarians.
Entrees are in the range you want. Wine list is online.
