Christmas Day meal in Queenstown, NZ

We're going to be honeymooning in NZ during December and are looking for the best place to eat on Christmas Day in Queenstown.

Seeing as it's our honeymoon, and Christmas day, then budget is not an issue. We're not really interested in the traditional turkey and trimmings if possible - the more special the better. We'd also rather not worry about transport so would definitely prefer something in town that we can walk to rather than something out of town.

The suggestion from our hotel is Wai. Any comments/ideas?
