What is the most expensive restaurant in Manhattan.

Some friends and I were discussing what the most expensive restaurant in Manhattan is. A couple of us thought Per Se was but some claim there are places more expensvie.

I'm just talking about food and no drinks or wine. What do you think.

Yea, Masa is the clear #1. Per Se is $270, but it includes tip/service. If you get the Per Se supplements or go with the extended menu, it can easily go over $400.

Kuruma Zushi omakase menu can start at $250
Daniel's 8-course tasting is $205
Rosanjin has a $200 Kaiseki menu.
L'Atelier's tasting menu is ~ $190.
Le Bernadin's Chef's tasting is $185
Momofuku Ko lunch is $175,

Is it worth it. What's the reservation requirements. Are they 60 days like Per Se. Is EMP better considering all the trouble to get a table.
