Help me narrow down a birthday dinner choice.

Trying to decide on a restaurant for my girlfriend's birthday tomorrow night.

She has told me to surprise her so my last minute decision making is not a big deal-haha.

We are both in our mid-20's and will eat anything but for this meal I prefer to focus on Italian/French/Mediterranean...

Looking to try something new so that leaves Sidecar, Note Bene, and Black Hood...

I would personally enjoy Buca - great funghi pizza. Great restaurant vibe and service

I'd go Beast. Best food, more romantic (quiet/intimate). Buca is much larger and louder, but has great atmosphere if that's your thing.
