Tuscan Kale

Hi. I am new to DC and need tuscan kale for a recipe. I tried Eastern Market and the Logan Circle and Clarendon Wholefoods with no luck. Does anyone know where I could find some?

It's also known as Lacinato kale or dinosaur kale. Maybe it's just not called Tuscan kale in your area? Whole Foods should definitely have it if the markets in my little NC town have it.

Most of the farmers markets in the area have it.

I bought some last week at the Gaithersburg Whole Foods (in the Kentlands), and again at the Bethesda Farmer's Market yesterday morning. I've also had good luck in the past at the Whole Foods in Clarendon ... so maybe it's just a name thing? Some people also know it as cavolo nero.

It was all over the Dupont market yesterday.

Whole Foods Clarendon definitely has Lacinato kale if that's what you're looking for.
