I'm spending the next weekend in Allandale and have a boat to my disposition. Can you suggest a good restaurant and/or bar that i could go. We are 2 couples of foodies from montreal that like really good food! Price is not a problem but that dosent mean that it as to be very expensive!

We also want to go out at Fontainebleau for one night. Do you have a suggestion for a good eat near that place?

Thanks!

What do you think about bayside seafood?

        Some ideas -

Le Tub in Hollywood on the Intracoastal - very casual, some (i.e., Alan Richman) claim it's the best burger anywhere. Very slow service, be prepared to wait.

Racks, Water Club - both right next to each other in Aventura area, also on the Intracoastal. Racks does Italian, good pizzas and some other things are decent. Water Club is more of a grab bag of comfort food type items, chef used to run Talula on South Beach.

The Fontainebleau has a couple very good restaurants in the hotel itself. Hakkasan is very good somewhat contemporary Chinese - very pricey, but very good. Also like their dim sum service during lunchtime on weekends. Scarpetta is a higher-end Italian place from NY chef Scott Conant.

I think there's something wrong with their "h" key. They're also "happy to ear" other suggestions.

The Fort Lauderdale water taxi's web site has links to a bunch of restaurants on the water with docks:

            http://www.watertaxi.com/FLLMap.Asp.htm

My suggestions: higher end: Charleys Crab, 15th street fisheries or Grille 66
            for a burger: Le Tub
            I like Coconuts

if you want to have a drink with a cool view, either pelican Landing at Pier 66 or the Pirate Bar
