anyone know of any reliable sources for andouille in the boston area, preferably cambridge-somerville area? looked at the alewife WF and didn't see any. well, something labeled "turkey andouille" of which i was highly suspicious.
I always get it at Russo's. They carry the D'artagnan brand and it is surprisingly good.
Call ahead if you plan to buy at Russo's. The andouille there is a sometimes thing (but very high quality).
There's a great brand (starts with an L maybe?) of Andouille I always see at the Chelsea Market Basket.
I believe you mean Leidy's. I like it, too, though it probably wouldn't fly in New Orleans.
Karl's Sausage Kitchen in Saugus makes andouille.
