I'm at a loss...Dinner tonight near Apollo Theatre

I cannot think of a thing! I have a friend in town and we're going to see a show at the Apollo at 10:30 tonight. Need recs for dinner before hand near the Apollo or anywhere off the Brown Line between Kedzie and Diversey.

We went to The Purple Pig last night and tomorrow we're going to Hopleaf. We're not looking for anything fancy, just casual, really tasty dinner. I was thinking about Chilam Balam in Lakeview. Any other suggestions?

Thanks in advance and sorry for the short notice!

    1. Glenn's Diner off the Montrose Brown Line Stop http://www.glennsdiner.com/

Cafe 28 off the Iriving Park Brown Line Stop http://www.cafe28.org/pages/menu/6.php

      Cjizakaya off Southport Brown Line

All these are nice to because you can hop on the Lincoln bus after and get to the Apollo that way too.

btw, the Lincoln bus doesn't run that late.

      2. Chizakaya is great, but a bit of a walk from the Southport brown line.

Just down the street from The Apollo is Kyoto Sushi Restaurant

Fair food, but it tends to get loud and crowded college kids.

        1. Where did you end up?
          Was it any good?
