Last Minute Business Trip to Chicago

Sunday, Monday, Tuesday. Meetings at McCormick Center most of the time. Staying near Omni Hotel. Any thoughts on how to get kosher food?

I ended up getting sandwiches from Metroklub, and a friend in the area brought me dinners from Taboun. Both were excellent.

Spertus is probably going to be your best bet - a number of places in Skokie, like Tein Li Chow in addition to Shallots -

I have not been to a conference at McCormick place in a while but I do recall one of the caterers would run a hot dog stand during the conference - but I do not know if they still do -

Only downtown options are:

1. Metroklub for lunch as mentioned.
2. Chicago loop synagogue has sandwiches from sandwich club for lunch

I think Sandwich Club will also deliver downtime but prices may be high.

i was in chicago for the candy expo and got food from spertus-it was quite yummy!

In a pinch you get a delivery from Shallots (beware, the delivery fee was the cost of a cab ride). They can deliver business approriate lunches on china BTW

Several places will deliver for an exorbitant fee. Cab fare from Shallots is probably $35 (each way).

The only choice in the downtown area (which, unfortunately is not very close to either your hotel or McCormick Place is the MetroKlub restaurant. Even worse, it's only open for lunch. Everything else is far North or in the suburbs.
