Looking for suggestions for Mexican restaurants in Nassau or western Suffolk. Love Besito in Roslyn, Pancho's in Island Park, but would love ideas for others. Thanks.

Second that; it's my favorite Mexican place since the passing of Fonda Coyacoan.

Try Mangoes in Bethpage near Central Ave. Not sure of actual address. have heard good things about the place have not been there yet myself but intend to soon.

        Found the web site:

Seems more Tex-Mex than Mexican, though I'm puzzled over the "Linguini Primavera" and the "Cajun 'Jambalya'."

Panchos in Island park is a favorite of mine. They give free meals on your birthday & are trying to make their menu a little healthier - I love a whole wheat fajita.

Down the road theres great Portuguese place called A Taberna, if you're looking for something kinda similar. Try the paella for sure!

Cara Cara in Farmingdale serves good tasty food in the Mexican category. The Enchiladas De Mole Negro and the tableside made Guacamole are a real treat.

The place is very kid friendly and the trained waitstaff some of the most professional on the Island.
