Best Sushi in MetroWest

Looking for a new place tonight...Oishi is our usual place...sometimes Fugakyu...but would really like to try a new, outstanding place...a full-bar would be a plus

C'mon chowhounds...thanks in advance!

I think that if you are intent on something better than Oisihi, you will have to broaden your horizon and try O Ya.

Does Wakefield count as metrowest? Sushi Island is very very good. If not, Ginger in Bedford is a small, friendly, affordable spot with fine quality, but not gonna be better than Oishi.

Neither Wakefield nor Bedford would be considered metrowest. I moved to Holliston from Medford about 9 months ago and have been going to Oga's about once a month since. I think the quality is excellent, comparable to Fugakyu, though not quite up to the level of any of the three Oishii restaurants. I do feel it's a little bit overpriced, but so far I haven't bothered to look anywhere else in metrowest for either better quality or better value.

Oga (Natick) used to be very good, but i haven't been there for a long time...best sake selection in the Boston area too

Oishi 2 in Sudbury, if you're talking about the original. Very different experience.
AKA Bistro in Lincoln has very good sushi.

I think the original poster was talking about Oishii and Fugakyu in Sudbury - they both have satellite locations there.

Was at Oga about 6 months ago and was VERY impressed. High quality, aesthetically well presented. However, my absolute favorite (even above Oishi) is Baba in Worcester. Wilson just can't be beat!
