Birthday weekend- do I have the right picks?
Ok experts. Tell me if I am barking up the wrong tree on any of these joints.
It is my 50th in two weeks and I want it right.
I will have friends choosing where to hook up with me based on likes, budget, time constraints on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Below are my favorites so far All things are being shared!!
Saturday (casual day)
cinnamon rolls from Tony's cafe in Plano (is there a better cinnamon roll?)
morning at Huffhines Art Trails
lunch - custom salad /sandwich and creme brulee at Eatzi's (either location)
roam around Central Market- Lovers
dinner- Lobster bisque and maybe something else light- Daddy Jack's
dessert- Nutella Gelato at Natsumi
cheap movie somewhere
Sunday (nicer day)
breakfast - Crepes Anglaise Cafe Brazil
lunch appetizer- Bob's for their onion rings w/ salad
lunch- Lobster mac and cheese The Capital Grille
early afternoon treat Rootbeer Creme Brulee (The Green Room)
roam around Whole Foods (Preston)
DInner - deep dish Chicago-style pizza Chicago Street Pizza
Evening movie at the Inwood
Monday (50th birthday) Nice day
breakfast is open....................probably won't be hungry.
Lunch pt. 1 stuffed mushrooms Perry's
Lunch pt 2 Scallops with lobster sauce Chamberlains
little shopping at Galleria
Dinner Crab cakes and lobster Oceanaire
Dessert Quatros Leches or Nutella Cake at La Duni
Haagen Dazs PBC ice cream (either at the store or store bought) with champagne and a beautiful view from somewhere. (not sure where yet)
I know steaks and BBQ are absent but we do those for Father's Day and male birthday's.
