Pop-up suggestion for Los Angeles/Long Beach/Northern Orange County
I've never tried a pop up. I'll be in the Los Angeles area the last weekend of this month. What can people suggest would be nice for $40 or less per person? One of my anticipated dining partners does not like spicy food.
Free or cheap corkage is a plus, but not mandatory.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Might help us if you can clarify your definition of a "pop up" (or Pop-up - you spelled it two different ways in the same post!). I've only seen it used in one other post.

Sorry, I've been reading about it. I thought it was fairly common term.

So LudoBites would have been an example of a pop up restaurant.-

Thanks for the link. It was rather testy but I finally got it to go through.
Pop-up - Very interesting concept. A restaurant chef and crew that come in and do special menus just for a short run of time, then close down and re-appear somewhere else with possibly/probably new menus, etc. in a new venue. This will make the IRS folks crazy trying to keep track of them. Love it!
