I read about them in the Courant a few weeks ago but haven't had a chance to stop by yet. I am going to see if I can slip out of the office at lunch time and see what they have. The article mentions European-style breads and baked goods.
Their spartan website:

West Hartford, CT
I've had the scones twice and they are the best that I've ever eaten. The coffee is delicious. And the bread is wonderful.
Thanks so much for the post Mels- we tried it today but do note, I sent hubs there last week and they're not open Mondays. Our favourite baguette is Isabelle et Vincent in Fairfield) but the WHBC's baguette is really delicious and very authentic european style. We also bought an Epi, which was superb and had a cheddar and chive biscuit for breakfast - it was delicious- never had a biscuit here like it for taste and texture (and frankly, could have probably eaten a dozen. Young woman who served us was also very pleasant and all the tables were filled. We will definitely be back .
So hard to find really good baguettes here, this is a real bonus!

The coffee is fantastic! I went in last week on a rainy early morning, and spoke with the owners. They were very eager to talk about where there sourced their beans, how they were roasted, ect.
The scones are AMAZING and baked fresh each morning, my favorite was the raisin.
