Minzhongle: Another Korean-Chinese Spot in Flushing
Minzhongle - 民众乐 (Min2 Zhong4 Le4) perhaps "The Happy Masses" is another Korean-Chinese / Chinese-Korean restaurant in Flushing. Have not seen any posts about the place. Have not eaten here yet but stopped in and picked up a fully translated menu. Might be more accessible than Rifu - where English is limited.

HI scoopG,
I've been eating at the joint since it opened under the name "Korean Delicacies of Every Kind" six months ago. Since then they have changed the name and added a lot more signage as the restaurant sits at the rear of a small mall. Said signage includes a picture of the chef along with his passport. The folks who run the place are from Jilin, and offer a bunch of Korean stuff (bibimbap, soondubu etc.) as well as some regional specialties like shan dong hai shen, shandong sea slug soup ($22). It is a ginormous bowl of the critters slong with bits of egg, cilantro, and chicken in a light (chiekn-based?) broth seasoned with white pepper. Interesting but probably not something I'd order again unless with a large group.Xiang son ya tui ($18), or crispy duck legs is truly superb. It's a whoel duck that's been salt-baked served with seasoned salt. Crispy, fatty, and above all ducky! Makes me think that their salt and pepper lamb chop ($22) must be excellent. Also makes me wonder whether these people are from the same area of China as those who ran A Fan Ti before it changed hands.
Also enjoyed the tea tree mushrooms or gan guo cha shu gu ($14) and
"popcorn with egg yolk sauce"-----
