Vegetarian/Vegan near Mission Beach?

I'll be in San Diego for the day, possbly over night, next week. I'm going to hang out with friends at Belmont Park (I've never been) and we'll all be arriving on Amtrak. We need a place that is either totally veg or offers a lot of veg options, preferably near Belmont Park but we're willing to take a cab if the food is really worth the trip. Any suggestions? And if there's a place for a good tuna sandwich nearby, all bets are off. I want THAT! :-)

Thank you both! They all sound like options we might enjoy. I especially like the idea that Ranchos Cochina will do almost anything veg. Mexican is my favorite! :)

Check out the Rubicon Deli on Mission Blvd in Mission Beach. They have a killer veggie sandwich -- the Whales Veg -- that my wife loves. Their spicy tuna sandwich also gets rave reviews from my wife, so that might be right up your alley.
