Flemings - Dine LA Scam!

Flemings sent me a $50 gc the other day...don't know why, as I haven't been in years, but I'll take it!

I have to go downtown a couple nights a week, and need a place to dine solo....so I decided to use the gc at Flemings this week...they have a $44 dine la menu. HOWEVER, go to the website and they have the identical menu throughout the chain as a "fall menu" promotion for $39.95!!!

For me, Dine LA is an opportunity for restaurants to gain new customers and reward loyal ones. Unfortuanately, their are very few, if any, that actually embrance this concept.

I'm sorry - I don't understand. I got that same $50 GC. Can you not use it during DineLA?

      Hey, I got one too!!

I thought I'd try to get a nice steak and call it a day. No potatoe, no drink, maybe some bread if they include it.

Can I get a nice rib eye for that $50???

the OP is saying that it's not a true "DineLA promotion" since they have the same thing going on nationwide as a "Fall Menu" for $5 less than the DineLA price.

Yes, you can use that GC for Dine LA.

I believe their rib eye is about $45 or so.

The issue he was bringing to our attention, was that same Dine LA offer, is available for about $4 less.

Unless I misunderstood, I'm still confused. OP gets $50 Gift card for free (no out of pocket) and complains because they have specials for under $50 (out of pocket)?

              ??

the gift card has nothing to do with it.

it's advertising something nationally available for $39 as a $45 "dinela special"
