Degustation or Blue Hill

tucker2217 Oct 11, 2010 07:35 PM

I have reservations upcoming at Kajitsu. I have another free night and am trying to decide between Degustation or Blue Hill. What is the current price for the Blue Hill tasting and is it worth the money? By comparison is Degustation as good a value as it seems(for 10 course tasting)?

Thank you

We ate at degustation over labor day weekend and were disappointed in many of the flavor combinations. They are completely different experiences by the way; blue hill is a very formal white tablecloth experience and at degustation you are elbow to elbow with your neighbors at the bar. It is interesting, you get to see all the cooking, but a very different vibe. I don't know what the current tasting cost is @ blue hill, last time we ate there was years ago.
