Take-out for 30 in Waltham or Newton?

We're planning an informal dinner for about 30 people -- research fellows and faculty members. The tradition is that the host picks up take-out from a restaurant that can cater to this large a group, and it's served buffet-style at the home of the hosts. What would be a good restaurant for ordering this amount of food in Waltham, Newton, or other place within a 20-minute drive of Weston?
Reliability is key. (The group had Blue Ribbon BBQ at our last dinner, and an Indian meal before that, so other types of food would be better. We've been thinking of Thai and are open to other suggestions.) Thanks for your advice!

Thanks for your advice everybody! All of the suggestions sound good but I think that we are going to go with Fiorella's! It will be a nice change of course from the past parties. We'll let you know how it turns out!

Another vote vote Baker's Best. For Thai, I'd suggest Amarin of Thailand in Newton Corner, decent enough Thai food for most. Although I'm personally not a huge fan, Fresh City on Needham Street creates platters that can serve many people and delivers.

Never had Domenic's or Fiorella's but will keep them in mind.

Comella's (family-style italian takeout) in West Newton is usually a crowd-pleaser, though not very sophisticated. They could certainly handle the quantity without any problem.

when I worked in the area we had many dinners and lunches catered by Baker's Best in Newton. Delish. Great variety. And they deliver.

I second Baker's Best. Our office gets large spreads delivered from there at least three times per month, and they've always been fresh and tasty.

Barry's Village Deli has nice platters if you want to go that route. They are in Newton.

You could check with Fiorella's. I know they do takeout for smaller parties, but it's a busy kitchen so I don't know if they could handle 30.

We just had Fiorella's for a group of 20. The food was a huge hit, absolutely delicious. Highly recommend it. I also second the Domenic's recommendation.

domenic's might do that (italian menu, very good sandwiches) - possibly Elephant walk? possibly solea (spanish tapas)
