Creme Fraiche-where to buy in Halifax/Dartmouth

I'm looking for some creme fraiche..I can't find it at sobeys or superstore...anyone know where I can find some..maybe Pete's?

    Don't waste your money on the stuff from Pete's. Leave 4 parts whipping cream and 1 part cultured buttermilk in a loosely-covered jar on the counter for about 12 hours, longer if it's cold.

      I completely agree. It's easy to make and the stuff at Pete's is WAY expensive.

      You can find liberte brand creme fraiche at Pete's and I've also seen it at the Queen St. Sobeys in the health food dairy section. It is expensive but quite delicious.
