mockingbird cafe basking ridge

We have had several meals at the Mockingbird Cafe in Basking Ridge. Opened in August with outside seating, offering breakfast, lunches and dinners. The menu is casual during the day, but dinner offers both casual dining and a seasonal "upscale" menu. They are offering their 2nd dinner menu, Early Harvest 2010. I had a lamb sirloin with a farro done "dirty rice" style with merquez, my husband had the rib eye with roasted potatoes and a portobello stuffed with creamed spinach. Prices are very fair and it is a BYOB too. Can't wait to go back and try quite a few other items on the menu.

If you didn't already know, this place is owned by the same folks who used to own the Limestone Cafe. Nice to know they're back in the restaurant business.
