Quebec City for 2 days (starting tomorrow) and we're vegetarians
Hi folks,
I've gone through the boards a bit and have fun a number of fine looking restaurants, but none with a vegetarian focus. Is there one (or more) restaurants that serve exceptional vegetable dishes? Or any great ethnic places that are vegetarian friendly? I actually eat fish, so am pretty happy anywhere, but my husband is a veggie...NOT a vegan. We love cheese, eggs and dairy in addition to great vegetables and grain dishes. We're from Brooklyn and would love to find some restaurants with a great vibe - not touristy. A variety of price points are welcome. It's our anniversary, so we'll splurge on one meal as well.
Cheers!

Le Patriarche seems to offer good options for vegetarian : http://www.lepatriarche.com/en/dinner...
There was a great review in Le Devoir newspaper (in french) 2 weeks ago.

Can't help you much here apart from a little tidbit: When Paul McCartney, a pretty outspoken vegetarian, was in town for a concert in 2009 he ate at the St-Amour, one of the best high-end places in Quebec. I wouldn't hesitate to give them a call and see if they can accommodate you.
