Thanksgiving Buffet near Glastonbury, CT

Any sugestions for a nice Thanksgiving buffet in a charming setting?
We will be a group of 7-9, and wouldn't mind driving 25 miles in any direction.
Any help will be appreciated!

Thanks so much your suggestions! I'm looking into Water's Edge and Sturbridge. Both look very appealing.

From Glastonbury, though, both Water's Edge and Sturbridge are almost an hour away.

Any one knows of anything a bit closer to Glastonbury, in the Greater Hartford area?

Years ago, my family went to the Simsbury Inn for a Christmas Brunch Buffet, and it was lovely. I don't know if they do a buffet for Thanksgiving, and if it's good.

    2. I live in Rocky Hill and I too have been looking for a similar type of place. I just found out that the Crowne Plaza in Cromwell (rt 372) will be having a buffet on Thanksgiving. 29.95 for adults and 16.95 for children. Seatings from 11:30 until 1 or at 2pm until ?. Their phone number is: 860-635-2000 for the hotel or I think the direct restaurant number is 860 807 2470. There is not much else around. My family went there sometime around 2000 or 2001 and though it was a large room, the buffet was lovely and the service was very good. We may end up there again this year.
Other than that, I have checked many other local places without any luck. Hometown Buffet does have a special Thanksgiing dinner too. The Manchester location told me prices were 10.49 for adults and 3.49 for kids. I am not positive that is accurate though.

Good luck and happy holidays to you and your family.
