My kids gave me a Mario Batali Italian Grill book, he has a reciipe for Beef Braciole on the grill. To hold the rolled and tied roast and help keep the stuffing in, he used these short metal scewars. I used soaked bambo but they always burn. I've looked all over for these metal scewars and have no idea where to find them. They look like maybe 6" long and just a SS flat metal strips with a loop in one end and miter cut on the other end. Anyone know where I can find something like this. Thanks,

  1. Might be hard to find such short skewers. You could always get longer ones and cut them to the desired length with bolt cutters.

PS. You can find a large selection at Amazon.com if you search for "skewers".

    Steel skewers at Amazon http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_nos...
