Hello, I grew up in Lancaster, but have not been there in over 10 years. As my son is now at NYU and my parents still live in Lancaster, I will visit more often. As, I live in Seattle, I am accustomed to great coffee. Where in Lancaster can I find a well poured espresso, a delicious french bakery and breakfast spot. Thanks for your help.

Try Square One Coffee on Duke St. downtown or Cafe Chocolate in Lititz. Both have websites.

Haven't been myself - not a coffee drinker, but I've heard great things about the Columbian Bakery, just north of the square. And if you haven't ever been to Rachel's Cafe and Creperie, I consider it a must stop in the city. (It's also on Queen, a few block further up)
