restaurant Columbus Circle area

cherib Oct 9, 2010 11:29 AM

I'm looking for a great restaurant in the area of Columbus Circle. It's a 89th birthday and mom's in a wheel chair so accessibility's a major concern. Her hearing's not great so we'd prefer a place with a minimum of noise. We also are all foodies including the one vegetarian. Does such a place exist?

If you want to break the bank, there's Per Se. Fantastic food fit for foodies and includes a vegetarian tasting menu.

I second Per Se. My sister and I took our mom to Per Se last year for her 85th birthday, and she loved it. Per Se would be perfectly accessible for your mom. Wish her a happy birthday (and many more!).

A Voce Columbus, in the Time Warner Center. There are elevators, so I believe it is wheelchair accessible. Nougatine is also a great choice. I'm sure JG's is too, but I have't eaten there...yet.

Not sure if it's wheelchair accessible, but my wife and I ate at Telepan about a year ago and really enjoyed. It's pretty quiet, refined, very good food and service.
