Food Wars Vs Food Feud

Is it me or are they repeating themselves without even trying to pretend that they are repeating themselves.

So lets see: Camille Ford, attractive kind of funny host.

Michael Symon, kind of scary but funny host with a wicked laugh.

Pitting two restaurants against each other blah blah blah.

Oy.

Symon just did lobster rolls and fried clams. The wining lobster roll had celery filler and tons of mayo in it, a real no..no.. for authenticity. Also, the best fried clam shack, Clam Box in Ipswich, wasn't on the feud...interesting! Lastly, why do most think that if a resto is on MvF, DD&D, Food Feuds etc, that the place serves good food?? All they do is cause a short term glut of one timers and the regs hit the trail for a year or two, then when they return most times the quality has gone way down and the humble chef now has an enflated ego and is hardly ever seen in the kitchen again.

2 shows means more advertising revenue.

Plus they are doing the same challenges probably with the same restaurants -- example: Chicago Italian Beef

And oooh, I can hardly wait for a Pat's v. Geno's contest again... even though most people say neither place has the best cheesesteak in Philly.

Food Feud did Pat's vs Geno's (Pat's won) and Food Wars did Pat's vs Tony Luke's (Pat's won again).

My guess is that they filmed Food Feud first and after he lost, Geno's didn't want to participate in Food Wars.

It's absurdity to the nth degree.

LOL! I thought it was the same show!

But they are owned by the same company, so they are effectively copying from themselves.
