Near Zeiterion Theatre in New Bedford

I know this may be a bit out of the way, but does anyone have any suggestions for a pre-show dining spot out that way. Thanks.

  1. You might get more help on the Southern New England board. Good luck!

    1. Went to the Z a couple years ago intending to eat at Antonio's, but the wait was too long. Happened upon a Lebanese restaurant on the road in and it was fantastic, cheap and homey. I can't recall the name. The Back Eddy is another option.

      1. "cork wine and tapas bar" is popular. but "no problemo" is probably the best eats in n.bedford.

I have eaten at Antonio's and enjoyed it well. No Problemo is really cute but I was not wowed at all. It is fast food US style Mexican. Cheap and easy. There is a Thai place called Spicy Lime on Pleasant I would love to try. Cafe Funchal looks interesting but I passed because we were dining on a Sat. night and it looked loud and busy.

          1. I'd go just over the Rte 6 bridge to Fairhaven and go to Margaret's on Main Street.
Great fresh seafood with some Portuguese influences at very reasonable prices.
            Always excellent.A can't miss spot.

Here's a not too accurate menu:
