Thanksgiving in New Orleans

I will be in New Orleans for Thanksgiving and was wondering if anyone has suggestions of restaurants to go to for the occasion. I am not really looking to eat turkey or typical thanksgiving foods. Are most restaurants open on Thanksgiving day?

Here's a link to restaurants open on TG last year. Should be the same. I think there's a Bayou Classic FB game that Saturday between Southern and Grambling so the FQ will be extra busy.

Lots of locals go to the Fair Grounds/Race Course for the opening of the racing season on Thanksgiving Day. It's a scene, and the food in the clubhouse is supposed to be pretty decent. They are auctioning off tables to benefit the American Cancer Society. Check this link...

Intriguing question. Holidays can be tough for finding restaurants. I browsed the list someone else posted. You didn't specify a price range, but I ate at Commander's Palace 5 years ago and still remember the entire meal, it was that good...............
