Imported Foods for gift - Brooklyn

chorosch Oct 8, 2010 09:09 AM

Hi all -

I am looking for a place in or around Park Slope that might have imported specialties for a gift... I'm thinking fancy chocolates or treats, biscuits, etc. The recipient used to live in France and Italy.

I was thinking Biercraft might have stuff like that. Any other suggestions? I am going to be in Park Slope tomorrow but have not lived over there for several years.

Thanks in advance.

I think Brooklyn Larder (right next to the Bergen Street 2,3 subway exit) or Blue Apron on Union would be your best bet for this if you want fancy packaged goods, etc.. There are also a number of fine pastry shops in the area, including Almondine on 9th Street and Trois Pomme on 5th Avenue
