Dry aged prime rib at Grace Meat Market...any feedback?
Hi,
I'm thinking about buying a big hunk of dry-aged prime rib from Grace Meat Market. It's $6.50/lb but...that's pre-trim (i.e. waste) and you have to buy a 25-30lb piece of meat. I'm all for trying out the product, but given the size and the cost want to make sure it's worth it.
Anyone have feedback on this particular meat? Also, since I'd be freezing portions I don't use (presumably they can vac-pack) I was wondering how the product is out of the freezer.
I'm open to alternative suggestions. Cumbrae's at $17.99 is pricey for the size of group I'm hosting.
