Palladio, Trummer's on Main, The Majestic, Liberty Tavern and more...

I just came across this series of photos from the above-mentioned restaurants, and thought that you'd like to explore the dishes of local restaurants on this chefs' site: http://www.starchefs.com/cook/photos/...

Palladio looks like a great outing, http://barboursvillewine.net/winery/p...
-- especially this time of year.

yes, they looked good to me, too.

    2. Had lunch at Palladio about a year or so ago. Very seasonal, local cooking. They have a few different tasting menu options, even for lunch, with wine pairings. All of which were very reasonably priced. I apologize for not remembering any of the specifics about the dishes but I know they were all quite good. It's definitely a good time, if you're willing to make the small hike from DC.

i liked the idea of all the homemade pastas there at palladio. i think we'll stop there on our way back from charlottesville sometime.

      2. I went to Palladio about 3 years ago and I thoroughly enjoyed the wine pairing dinner and bought some of the wines when we left. I've wanted to go back again just haven't had an opportunity.
