Insomnia Cookies

As I went by this a.m. I noticed that Insomnia Cookies seems to be opening on Amsterdam at 79th Street (right near the uptown bus stop). I only had their cookies once when I was walking in the neighborhood. I thought the cookie was pretty good and very oozy (it was still warm). I didn't see a sign on the door indicating when the new spot will open. But I'll be happy to try them out again when it does open.

The best part is that they deliver, and when you sign up for the email list they have specials almost every week (buy 3, get 3 free, for example). They let you customize stuff which is awesome too-a brownie with reeses and cookie dough on top? delicious. However, I've had them deliver a number of times (I live near the NYU one) and a few times they were cold and not very enjoyable.

Dylan's Candy Bar is supposed to be opening in that same area (Amsterdam) within the next few months

Thanks for the update. I live in the neighborhood and will definitely check them out. I've had their cookies ones before - the peanut butter one was only ok (crispier than a PB cookie should be), but I liked the chocolate chip.
