Veg grub in DFW area?!
This may be a hopeless query, but are there any vegetarian/vegan joints around here worth stopping at along our road trip route thru DFW?
If any of you are left scratching your heads, we'll settle for a really good pizza joint or Thai/Chinese/whatever.. Please help!
Instantly thought of Potager and Kalachandji's but... how exactly are you passing through? Being more specific on your route would improve the quality of responses.
In any case, ran a search for vegetarian (you should probably do the same) and these threads should get you started.

In that case, I'd go with either Kalachandji's or one of the Indian places in Valley Ranch (Royal Sweets, etc); these are north of where Macarthur hits 635. Those locations shouldn't be too much of a detour.

You can throw in the lunch buffet and the chaat menu items at Royal Sweets in Valley Ranch as vegetarian. They had some pretty amazing navarattan korma, saag, cabbage bhujjia (my favorite), dal makhani, onion pakoras, idli and sambar (sambar was good, idli not so much), naan, two types of rice. Pretty solid buffet for $5.99. The chutneys were pretty good but I would avoid the pickles as they were probably the saltiest thing I have ever put in my mouth.

Kalachandji's for sure. Suma Veggie Cafe and Veggie Garden (Chinese) in Richardson. There are more familiar Indian places like Mumtaz, Chettinad Palace and Mediterranean/Lebanese places like Ali Baba, Afrah, Mediterranean Cafe & Bakery where you could easily fill up on non-meat entries (They do serve meat though).

Coming from where? Heading to where? Where might there be a vegetarian joint between LA and Chicago if not Texas? Do tell!
Spiral Diner in Fort Worth is consistently rated as the best vegetarian restaurant in the state. I have lived in Austin 15 out of 17 years, and I never saw as many committed vegans as I did in that one year I lived in Fort Worth (aka Cowtown) Texas. I am convinced that Spiral Diner, off Magnolia St., is their secret.
If you're just passing through, bypass Dallas and stop in Fort Worth at the Spiral.

Dallas has a Spiral Diner too. I use to go there with the SO and it wasn't bad.
