Cooked Carne Asada and Pollo Asada for a large party

Anyone have any ideas where I can buy trays of carne asada, pollo asada, and beans for a party of 80? I do not want a taquero to cook it fresh. I want to buy it from a store or restaruant, keep it in a warmer and serve to my guest buffet style.

  1. I would check with El AbajeƱo or Tacomiendo and see what they will do for you.

    1. Try Top Valu Market in Culver City as well.

      1. What part of town?

-Casita Taco is my favorite taqueria anywhere, with 2 locations in Burbank or North Hollywood. The carne and pollo asada are both great!

-El Parian - Mid City/west downtown is highly rated by Mr. Gold. He also loves their goat.

        - Carnitas Michuacan in Lincoln Heights, very tasty carne asada, but I haven't tried the pollo either here or El Parian.

-My Taco on the Highland Park/South Pas border is known for their fantastic barbacoa, their carne asada is also pretty darn great. Excellent carne asada fries, but I don't think they'll travel too well.

-Taco Spot in Eagle Rock also has pretty good carne asada (and carne asada fries).

Finally, there are also numerous King Tacos in East, Northeast L.A. & Pasadena. Carne asada's pretty good, but again can't vouch for the pollo.
