Recs for Saturday dinner in general vicinity of 2nd and E 13th street

I am coming for the evening, and I want to try Milk but don't really care to try the other restaurants in that chain. My friend and I are not picky eaters, her only caveat being she does not eat seafood. Any recs?

Thank you to those who posted for the recommendations. I went to Milk and got cookies which were great. I ended up eating at a Greek Restaurant called Pylos on 7th b/t Ave A and 1st. It was great.

Redhead. 13th between 1st and 2nd.

momofuku ssam isn't a place to miss in my opinion, but there are many options right there

on 12th and 2nd is kanoyama for sushi
between 11th and 12 on 2nd is bar carrerra for excellent tapas, and its sister place, bar veloce for italian small plates.
not far away on 13th is the redhead, great fried chicken, and really good burgers.
on 2nd is the ukranian est village for piergogis and bigos and flazcki and the like
you are in striking distance of ippudo, and a million other ramen places.

that's off the top of my head w/out thinking about. there are so many choices that the recommendations really depend on what you mean by "general vicinity" - in NY a 10 minute walk in that neighborhood will take past a hundred different places

Yah, there's a BOATLOAD of restos along E. 12th. Just gotta make a decision '-)

Milk, do you mean Momofuku Milk Bar? Thats not really a restaurant, more a dessert/snack type place.

With 3-4 blocks of 13th and 2nd are Redhead, Motorino, Cacio e Pepe, Hearth, The Smith, Apiary
