Tips for Dining, Eating, and Food Shopping in Minneapolis and St. Paul

restaurant week

Okay, it's mid-week. Report on where you have been, and how the food has been.
I have reservations for dinner tonight at Meritage, and am debating lunch at either Cafe Ena or D'Amico Kitchen this weekend as I haven't been to either.
Any big winners or losers?

  1. Saffron was/is my only stop this week and it was a hit. I posted about the whole thing already in the Saffron Happy Hour post.

    1. For the first time in years (maybe since the beginning of RW), I don't think I'll be partaking in any meals. I really only wanted to try Meritage and I waited too long to book a reservation.

      1. al vento has dinner for $15. went there already and it was solid. not the most unique thing i've had in town, but TOTALLY worth more than $15 !! ..it was packed, though - not sure how they're doing for reserved-ness ;)
