11 NYC Hounds on a budget (somewhat) - where to have dinner?

  • d

Hi there,

My extended family and I will be traveling to San Francisco in a few weeks. Staying in Fisherman's Warf, but will happily travel. Our ideal budget is $20-$25 per entree, and we'll eat almost anything, but are specifically looking for fresh, seasonal, smartly prepared food. If we can find a place that does hand-made pasta, all the better, although we're open to any suggestions at this point.

The major problem seems to be accommodating our ridiculously huge party. Have tried to make reservations at Perbacco, Flour + Water, SPQR, and a few others, but none of those take reservations for such a large table.

Any suggestions out there? Thanks in advance!

  1. You might try the back room at Incanto.

    1. Limon Rotisserie
      Zero Zero

Maybe Wayfare Tavern? (though that would be at the top of your price range)

      1. Why don't you cross-reference www.opentable.com for places that can accommodate your party with the information here. Do the search there and search on CH or ask questions.

        1. I think Ideale in North Beach could handle your size group.

          1. Call Umbria, it's at Howard/2nd St, near lower Market, financial district. Owner is Italian and they make fresh pasta there, good prices. I know Perbacco cannot accommodate your large group but their prices are much higher, portions smaller.
