I didn't see your post before, but our son just mentioned this place to me (he and his girlfriend went last week) and he said they tried the churros (smaller than traditional) and the hot chocolate. He reported that both were good. Basically a couple of blocks easst of Barrington on Santa Monica Blvd.

Their website homepage is up, but has no content as yet.

Had them a couple weeks ago. Really tasty. Not sure how long that business can stay open, but worth checking out if in the area and looking for something sweet.

I thought it was good, but a bit pricey for what you get.

The churros are amazing. The chocolate is made more for the american market, so if you really want to go authentic, then ask the guy to make it thick like in Spain. Otherwise, it's a bit runny, but still sticks to the churro.

I went by on Monday, and of course they were closed - my fate in life. I think the hours posted were:

            Tuesday - Sunday, 11:30-10:30
            Closed Mondays
