Hi,
I'm wondering where people go for late night weekday eats in Flushing? I'm looking for a spot to go around midnight or so after going to Spa Castle. my usual spots (Little Pepper, the various food courts, Spicy and Tasty) are all closed by then. I only know of Lu's on the corner of Prince and 39th. any other ideas?

thanks!

You've never been to Sunway across the street? It's open very late, well into the morning hours. It's usually crowded. I seldom have to wait, and if there is one, isn't bad. Service is very fast, food is reliable, even if not top notch, but it's just a tad on the pricey side.
I recently stopped in Mapo Sczechuan. They have a bar with a large screen TV. You can probably order food and eat it at the bar too.

When I head out to Flushing I often go to the Mingle Beer House after dinner for drinks and peanuts. It is primarliy a bar/KTV place but also has a menu and seperate reasaurant area. I've only the sampled the food a few times but found it fine. There's usally a pretty decent crowd in there eating, and many of the tables have table-top burners. My understanding that most of the clientele and food is Taiwanese. It'll certainly be open past midnight. It also has the advantage of being quite clean compared to some other places in the neighborhood.
