Need recs for a birthday celebration

We are celebrating the birthday for someone who is coming down from NYC who works in the fine dining industry up there and is a major foodie. Any suggestions as to where we should go here, in the city somewhere? Already tried Volt, Minibar, Komi and Cityzen - all booked. Anything along those lines?

Thanks!

What about Marcel's. A friend of mine dined there last night and said it was outstanding.

Corduroy is not so bad in the last-minute reservation department, either. And it's relatively close to the Passenger for great after-dinner cocktails, too, no?

Industry people always seem really interested in Citronelle, too, but I think they book up fairly fast also.
