Good Thai in Rockville?
Looking for a good Thai place in Rockville where two people can have a long leisurely dinner without feeling rushed.. Doesn't need to be real exotic -- I usually stick with Pad Thai or Pad See Ew. (Can't eat spicy food.)

Thai Pavillion in Rockville Town Center. was there a few days ago and it was very good and a nice place. Benjarong used to be good but changed ownership. I heard the old owners opened somewhere in Mont co and it is supposed to be good. Pana Thai in Derwood is pretty good also.

Other good Thai places in that general area, though not in Rockville proper, are:
Sabai Sabai in Germantown http://sabaisimplythai.com/

NOT Tara Thai or Thai Pavilion, I can say that much.
Benjarong is ok, I like Amina Thai on Nicholson as well.

Ruan Thai is my favorite Thai place in Wheaton/DC area. Nava Thai is second.

I think the new place open on New Hampshire Ave in Cloverly is bestter than either Ruan Thai or Nava right now:
Siriwan Thai

re: babkanosher
Thai Farm is by and far my least favorite Thai restaurant in the area. The food is bland, the servers are rude and prices are high. The dining room is really pretty, but that's about all it has going for it.
My current standby is Pana Thai. I used to love Thai Jasmine Bistro but it went way downhill after an ownership change about a year ago. Thai House in Gaithersburg is good as well, but REALLY spicy.

re: reiflame
Went to Thai Jasmine Bistro today for lunch. They no longer have a buffet, and there were no curries on the lunch special menu. But we had the Chicken Pad Thai and Drunken Noodles with Chicken and both were excellent and quite filling for the price. Excellent spring rolls. I was surprised at the large bar area, taking up the other half of the restaurant.

re: reiflame
The reason I mentioned it is because in Google Places there is this comment: "Welcome to Thai Jasmine Bistro! We specialize in delicious and reasonably priced Thai cuisine. We now serve Thai Lunch Buffet, 12:00PM - 2:00PM, M-F. - From the owner "
If you try to edit the comment, Google comes back and says the listing can only be edited by the owner.
