Please, no suggestions for Fatburger, In & Out, Carl's Jr., etc.
Thanks to all of you. I'll put these on my list to try.
To piggyback, How about malted milk shakes? I miss my grandfather's malteadas made in the old hamilton-beach
Preferably west LA or Hollywood..
Surprisingly, the Disney Studio Fountain on Hollywood Blvd. next to El Capitan, makes a great malt.
All excellent suggestions. I'm not a fan of The Counter, but their milkshakes are great. I like their strawberry.
The Hurricane with caramel crunch at either of the Handel's locations. It gets even better when you eat a little of it and then dump a double espresso on top.
That's an easy one for me. The Oinkster serves an Ube Shake made with Fosselman's Ube ice cream that is the ultimate milkshake anywhere!!!

Fosselman's is good and an old standby.
But you should also consider Paradis (in Glendale) and Twoheys.
As an aside, anyone ever try the milkshakes at Scoops?
Fosselman's in Alhambra. They've received awards from LA Magazine for Best Milkshake.
Now that Soda Jerks is back, I have to go with them. Graveyard Shake is the best.
